UPB is committed to the provision of a safe and healthy environment in which to work and we are committed to the prevention of accidents and the preservation and protection of the health of our staff and will work with our contractors and suppliers to prevent injury to employees or contractors and protect the interests of clients and the general public.
This will be achieved by:
- Complying with all relevant HSE laws and regulations
- Indentifying the potential impacts deriving from our activities and where possible these will be quantified.
- Continuously review all our business operations, in order to minimise our environmental impacts.
- Implementing measures to prevent pollution to the enviroment wherever reasonably practicable.
- Working systematically to eliminate accidents and incidents
- Encouraging contructive communication with our empolyees, contractors and partners about managing health, safety and work environment issues and encourage them to commit to good environmental practices.
- Continually improving health and safety management issues by setting and reviewing objectives and targets.
